Golden Cup” is the most expensive film ever made in Bhutan with a budget of 70,000 US dollars.
It tells the story of Lhamo, a young girl who is betrayed by her lover after she gets pregnant. She finds later her family has been cursed. Her mother is the servant of an ‘evil’ and soon it will be her turn to serve the dark masters. She becomes obsessed with the idea of revenge and exercizes her powers to the utmost.
Thailand is the first destination of “Golden Cup. The producers guaranteed Thai audiences would see and touch the real Himalayan lifestyle without having to pay for a trip to Bhutan.

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article ; Thailand Internet TV, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
