Myanmar claims no Buddhist monks killed in democracy protests
BANGKOK, Nov 16 (TNA) – The military government of Myanmar has admitted to a higher death toll during the recent democracy demonstrations than it had done earlier, the United Nations human rights envoy to the isolated regime said on Friday at Bangkok’s UN regional headquarters.
