PATTANI, March 16 (TNA) – One man was killed and 13 persons, including a
hotel owner and senator, were wounded in two bomb explosions at the C.S. Pattani
hotel on Saturday night.

The first bomb was hidden under a car, parked near the entrance to the hotel
lobby.

Masakree Salae, the driver of the hotel owner and senator Anysart
Suwanmongkol was killed immediately. The explosion also damaged the hotel
structure.

Another bomb exploded in a restroom of the hotel. Pattani Hopspital director
Dr. Pornjit Prapinwanit said that most of the injured were released from
hospital while three people who were seriously injured remain under treatment in hospital. (TNA)-E004
